Google Chrome Launched background processes but doesn't open up

Hello,

 We have had problem with few users in our company.When they would try launching google chrome it would start background processes but wouldn't launch in first click until we killed a session from TASK MANAGER.Then we found this post.

In here, one member said that renaming chrom.exe would resolve the problem as DLP endpoint was blocking it because of false positive.After following it ,our problem was resolved.We have Mcafee dpl end point versions 9.3,9.4,10.11.0.0.1162  (all three) w.r.t windows 8.1 and windows 10 respectively.

Can anyone please help us that why only few people had Mcafee DLP false positive issue and not all the employees?
