Dear All,
i'm first time in ePO. i have one doubt.
In our network i'm seeing some workstations are not updated with MA version 5.0.4.283. still those workstations are working with the old MA version. instead of doing manual updat,e is there any possibilities to force McAfee agent update from ePO server for that particulate workstations.
Thanks & Regards,
Khaleelur Rahman.
Good morning. The Agent cannot 'update' itself, but you can push deploy the agent to Windows remote machines.
When you refer to 'old MA version' do you mean the version 4 agent or a previous build on the version 5 agent?
If you could advise on the version of the older Agent I can give you some guidance on how to psh the updates/installs out.

Hi,
In this instance you need to 'Deploy Agent' to your endpoints.
If these are Windows machine you can push these out from the ePO console, but during this deployment you need to select which version you wish to deploy from your Mater Repository, and uncheck the box 'Install only on systems that do not already have an agent managed by this ePO server '
This will deploy the agent over the top of an existing agent.
Let me know if you need any further help
Rich
