Hi, as stated in the title our ePO database has grown recently to 38GB from around 12GB which it was at for months. dbo.OrionSnapshot table the culprit. Can the table be deleted? Does anyone know of any documentation to support this?
Hope you can help as our sql server is struggling as a result.
Thanks in advance.

For info I snapshotted everything in vmware. Stopped the services. Emptied the table. Started the services. All working well. Thanks for the help guys.
HI.
General rules:
don't alter anything in the ePo tables.
If you are generating too much data and storing it in the ePO tables, stop generating it/purge it.
In your specific case, the snapshot feature is explained in the ePO 5.x product guide. You can turn off the disaster recovery snapshot by disabling the server task.
McAfee might be able to provide a statement to purge the data out of the tables, you'll need to go to support and open an SR (support.mcafee.com). Once that is done, recovering from a crash would be much more difficult.
Hope this helps.
I've disabled the snapshot feature, but there is no documentation regarding purging the database. We are going to snapshot the server and empty the table and see what happens.
"truncate" should do it.

if you could mark the thread as "answered", that would be great!
